Body falls from Miami-bound cargo flight

MIAMI — Authorities said a body fell out of a plane that traveled to Miami from the Dominican Republic.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the body fell from the wheel well of an Amerijet cargo flight that left the Dominican Republic on Thursday afternoon. The flight arrived in South Florida about two hours later.

Bergen said the plane landed without incident at Miami International Airport and was taken to a remote spot for an inspection.
