‘Bar raised’ for American Cancer Society

Celebrity bartenders C. Mark Fallows, D.O., and William V. Harrer, III, M.D., show off their earnings at Relay For Life – Team SRRMC’s recent “Mardi Gras” themed fundraiser at Burkes of Ireland in Crystal River. All proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event in Crystal River on March 26.

CRYSTAL RIVER – Team SRRMC recently hosted a Mardi Gras Celebrity Bartender Night fundraiser at Burkes of Ireland in Crystal River, raising $2,500 for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center-affiliated physicians C. Mark Fallows, D.O. and William V. Harrer, III, MD were the team’s volunteer celebrity bartenders.

They served enough “spirits” to earn $432.58 in tips. Additional contributions were collected through the sale of food and a silent auction.

The team sends a big thank you to Burkes of Ireland for their support and the many team members that made the event successful.
