TALLAHASSEE – Gambling talks continue in the Legislature Thursday, as the House committee charged with drafting a gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe of Florida considers the impact of Vegas-style casinos on the state’s tourism industry and economy.
Also, Senate budget committees will meet for the first time since Senate President Jeff Atwater released information on how much money they have to work with.
Executives from the Las Vegas Sands made rounds through the Capitol Wednesday in preparation for their report Thursday to the House Committee on the Seminole Indian Compact Review.
